Capitol Riots, Impeachment Topics of UW Discussion Feb. 19

University of Wyoming political science Professors Jim King and Andrew Garner will discuss the riots on the U.S. Capitol and the recent impeachment hearings of former President Donald Trump Friday, Feb. 19.

They will discuss “Capitol Riots in Perspective: Institutions, Polarization and Impeachment” from 12:10-1 p.m. via Zoom. The discussion can be accessed at

King and Garner will put the Capitol riots and the impeachment into perspective. King will discuss the nation’s institutions, and Garner will talk about polarization. A question-and-answer discussion will follow.
