UW’s Year-End Union Fest for Students May 6

Union Fest, a year-end celebration for University of Wyoming students, will return Friday, May 6, with various activities planned throughout the day. Activities are free and open to the public.

Times and locations for Union Fest events are:

-- 11 a.m.: Free food -- hot dogs, ice cream and popcorn -- will be available on Simpson Plaza. Yard games on Prexy’s Pasture, such as “Minute-to-Win-It” games with prizes; inflatables; a mechanical bull; a photo booth; and a DJ are scheduled.

-- 4 p.m.: Hamburgers and vegan burgers, yard games and a caricature artist will be available on Prexy’s Pasture.

-- 5 p.m.: Live music performances will take place on Prexy’s Pasture. Performing will be Daisy the Great, an alternative-indie band known for its singles “Cry in the Mirror” and “Record Player” (featuring AJR), and headliner Echosmith, an indie-pop band known for hits including “Cool Kids” and “Bright.”
