September 30, 2022

Small-business entrepreneurs in Wyoming looking to start their own businesses can receive a basic overview of what the process entails.

Audie Cunningham will discuss the ins and outs of starting a business during a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network workshop titled “Start Your Own Business” Thursday, Oct. 6, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Teton County Library, located at 125 Virginian Lane in Jackson. To register, go here. Registration is free.

Cunningham, Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Fremont and Teton counties, will discuss helpful startup tools; sources of business capital; an overview of the business model canvas and how to get started with a business plan; and common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

As an entrepreneur, Cunningham has worked in art licensing and graphic design, and she has 10 years of experience in customer service and marketing through her work in public libraries. Her education and experience have given her knowledge in print and digital marketing, creating marketing plans, social media marketing and business planning.
