UW, Partners to Host Collaborative Lunch and Learn Program in Wheatland

Small-business owners in Wyoming can learn about the importance of understanding cash flow and making their businesses recession-proof during a collaborative “Lunch and Learn” program among the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Platte County Chamber of Commerce.

Steen Stovall, Tammi Hanshaw and Nicholas Giraldo will discuss these subjects during a workshop titled “Understand Your Cash Flow and Recession Proof Your Business” Thursday, Oct. 6, from noon-1 p.m. at the Platte County Chamber of Commerce, located at 65 16th St. in Wheatland.

To register, go here. Registration is free. Lunch will be provided, so RSVP by calling the chamber at (307) 322-2322.

Stovall is the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Converse, Natrona, Niobrara and Platte counties; Hanshaw is a marketing and outreach specialist with SBA; and Giraldo is the program manager of the Wyoming SBDC Network Community Navigator Program.

For more information, call Maureen Johnson, CARES Act recovery program manager for the Wyoming SBDC Network, at (307) 343-0925 or email mjohn125@uwyo.edu.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with SBA.
