From rangeland research and watershed improvement projects to Farm Bill negotiations and international trade policy, Miyamoto has been a tireless champion for Wyoming farmers and ranchers. In 2023, he was elected president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) and brought the organization's annual convention to Wyoming for the first time. He encourages the next generation of agricultural leaders to embrace difficult challenges and leverage UW's resources to build careers in Wyoming agriculture.</description><category>Community</category><featuredImage><img src="/uwag/roots-ranges-listing-page/2025/doug-miyamoto.png" alt="Gov.
