These are among the activities scheduled May 27-June 2 at the University of Wyoming:
Monday, May 27 -- Most UW administrative offices will be closed, and classes will be dismissed for Memorial Day.
Friday, May 31, 8 p.m. -- UW Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium show, “The Entire History of the Universe.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204, or by going online at www.uwyo.edu/physics and clicking on “Planetarium Schedule.”
Saturday, June 1, 10 a.m. -- “New Acquisitions: The Art Museum Collection” opens at the UW Art Museum. The exhibition features important acquisitions that the museum has acquired over the last year for its permanent collection. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
