"I want to invite everyone to SKYWARN RECOGNITION DAY starting on Friday December 5, 2014 at 5:00PM to Saturday December 6, 2014 ending at 5:00PM. This will be taking place at the National Weather Service located at 1301 Airport Parkway Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001. The National Weather Service hosts this event to say thank you amateur radio operators or SKYWARN members for supporting NWS during serve weather events, goal is to talk all the National Weather Services across the country. ShyWY amateur radio Club and Laramie County ARES/RACES will be setup antennas at National Weather Service on Friday December 5,2014 at 1:00PM. If interested in helping setting up antennas or operating during SKYWARN RECOGNITION DAYS please contact Wilson Sellner WB7RRZ at 637-8634 or Brian McNutt at 421-1801. Please call if you have any questions or concerns. Hope to see everyone up at the National Weather Service. Thank you for your support of Laramie County ARES/RACES."

UARC Meetings

The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm except during the summer months. If possible, check the Laramie Area Amateur Radio Net for announcements.

Anyone interested in Amateur Radio is invited to attend!

Laramie Area Amateur Radio Net

The club participates in the Laramie Area Amateur Radio Net, a weekly VHF net on Sundays at 6:15 pm. The UARC repeater frequency is 146.61 MHz with a 600 kHz negative offset, or 146.61 MHz simplex, in case of repeater malfunction.
