The GHG Emission Summary result screen contains a single table which summarizes the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the plant. Results are expressed as units CO2 equivalent per MWh. The following results are provided:
•Biomass-Associated Land Use Change: (only shown for energy crops) This is the GHG emission resulting from biomass land use change. This result is highlighted in yellow.
•Fuel Extraction/Mining: This is the GHG emission associated with fuel extraction. Fuel extraction represents the stages of coal mining, waste coal extraction, and biomass production, as applicable.
•Fuel Processing: This is the GHG emission associated with fuel processing.
•Fuel Transport: This is the GHG emission associated with fuel transport.
•Total Fuel Supply: This is the sum of fuel extraction/mining, processing and transport emissions. It is highlighted in yellow.
•Plant Operation: This is the GHG emission associated with the operation of the plant. Unlike the other emissions, this one is given as units CO2 per MWh. It is highlighted in yellow.
•CO2 Transport & Storage: (only shown when some form of CO2 capture is configured on the Plant Design screen) This is the GHG emission associated with CO2 transport and storage.
•Total Life Cycle: This is the sum of the highlighted lines above. This result is highlighted in yellow.
