At UW, we understand the unique challenges transfer students face. That's why we have Transfer Cowboy Coaches—trained peer mentors who have experienced the transfer process themselves. These coaches provide personalized support, helping you navigate life at UW and beyond. With their solution-based and empathetic approach, you'll always have someone to turn to. Plus, our coaches are backed by the Student Success and Graduation (SS&G) staff, ensuring you have access to additional resources if needed.

 

UW Transfer Week

Celebrate being a transfer student at UW during Transfer Week! This week-long event is packed with activities designed to help you connect with other transfer students, explore campus resources, and immerse yourself in the UW community. It's a fantastic opportunity to build friendships and get to know the university better.

 

Transfer Saddle Up

Join us for Transfer Saddle Up, a one-day program specifically tailored for transfer students. This optional event is designed to address your unique needs and questions, helping you feel more at home at UW.
