Transfer Cowboy Coaching
At UW, we understand the unique challenges transfer students face. That's why we have Transfer Cowboy Coaches—trained peer mentors who have experienced the transfer process themselves. These coaches provide personalized support, helping you navigate life at UW and beyond. With their solution-based and empathetic approach, you'll always have someone to turn to. Plus, our coaches are backed by the Student Success and Graduation (SS&G) staff, ensuring you have access to additional resources if needed.

How we welcome transfer students to UW
The Student Success and Graduation Hub wants to make sure every transfer student feels welcome and comfortable as they start their journey at UW. That's why we have created events that are specific to transfer students prior to and throughout the academic year.
