The Graduate Assistant Teaching and Learning Symposium is intended for graduate assistants (GAs) with first-time teaching responsibilities at UW. Providing our GAs some keys to success in working with our students is critically important. The symposium is designed to introduce GAs to effective ways of working with their students and dealing with issues they may face in the role of the teacher.
The Fall 2024 Graduate Assistant Teaching and Learning Symposium will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024. This is an in-person all day event. Attending the symposium is required for graduate assistants with first-time teaching duties. Graduate teaching assistants only need to attend the symposium one time. Registration information will be available soon.
