State Science Fair:

2014

  • Abigail Whitman, 6th grade, Snowy Range Academy. Abigail studies how rain altered the urban heat island effect. She won the third place in the Junior Earth & Planetary Sciences category, and was also awarded the NCAR Certificate of Achievement in the Junior Category. Please visit WyomingView blog site to learn more about her work and award.

Abigail's award

  • Conner Whitman, 8th grade, Laramie Junior High School. Conner studied phenological changes in aspen trees based on their age and health status. He won the third place in the Junior Plant Sciences category. Please visit WyomingView blog site to learn more about her work and award.
