Denis Shannon, Electronic Resources Librarian

Biography: 

Denis Shannon (he/him/his) is the Electronic Resources Librarian at the University of Wyoming Libraries. Denis has collections experience in prison, public, and academic libraries and uses this experience to inform his current work providing equitable access to library resources to the University of Wyoming’s constituents. Shannon’s research interests include library services for incarcerated people and open publishing. He contributes to both local and national organizations, including the Mountain Plains Library Association at the local level and NASIG at the national level. He is currently on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education. Outside of work, Denis enjoys music on CD, reading, playing games, and riding his bike.
