Tracey McCormick has been Assistant Librarian for Public Services since 2023. In addition to teaching and research, her responsibilities include oversight and assessment of public service programming, maintaining library websites and research guides, and grant writing.
Tracey comes to UW from her adopted home of Colorado. She brings education, teaching, library, and legal experience in the private sector, K-12 education, and higher education. Besides her MLIS, she holds a graduate degree in psychology and years of study in the English language. Her primary research areas of interest are information retrieval and user behavior and outreach.
