Wyoming 4-H State Opportunities

    Horse Camp


    4-H Horse Camp is open to all Wyoming 4-H Club Members, Parents, 4-H Leaders, and Wyoming Extension Personnel. The educational programs provide practical, hands-on training emphasizing safe riding and handling skills.

    Youth Deer Hunt


    The Wyoming State 4-H Program offers a hunting experience for up to six youth ages 14-18. The hunt takes place in Northeastern Wyoming on the Solitude Ranch. The ranch is located 5 miles east of Devils Tower.

    Food Fun 4-H


    The Food, Fun, 4-H project is open to any 4-H member who would like to cook along with us throughout the year.

    State 4-H Leadership Team


    The State 4-H Leadership Team provides opportunities for youth to represent Wyoming 4-H through leadership and service at all statewide events and activities including state leadership team retreat, Showcase Showdown, Legislative Day, State Shoot, and the Wyoming State Fair. Team members are also involved in providing county or multi-county leadership workshops, assisting at all state 4-H contents and events, and representing 4-H at organizational meetings.

    National Shooting Sports Championship

    June 23-28, 2024
    Applications are now being accepted for the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships. Wyoming 4-H members are eligible to apply for one of the 9 teams that will represent Wyoming at the National Championships.

    Raton Shooting Sports Awards Trip

    September, 2024
    Fourteen Wyoming 4-H members are selected each year to attend an awards trip to the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, NM.
