In partnership with NFT DAO, a special offering of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are being offered to support the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede and WyoHackathon Sept. 21-26 at the University of Wyoming. This offering made through the CBDI, is a way to help fund the annual event, support the Blockchain Minor, and fund scholarships in blockchain education at UW. The NFT offering involved UW students helping NFT DAO with the legal framework, financial tokenomics and taxation requirements, business models, products, engineering solutions and marketing.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is among the digital assets be developed by students and researchers under the University of Wyoming Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation in cooperation with its collaborative colleges, schools and community colleges.
An NFT can neither be replaced nor interchanged because it has unique properties. As a digital asset, it can represent collectibles like art, music, and games with an authentic certificate created by blockchain technology that underlies cryptocurrency.
