The 2023 fall semester has officially started, and Laradise is at its very best! Gorgeous weather, a campus full of students and all kinds of engaging activities await you. We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 must-do activities this fall, so grab your friends and start exploring everything the University of Wyoming has to offer!

1. Sporting Events (duh)

One of the best things about the University of Wyoming is how much Poke Pride our student body has! You can’t miss out on the electric energy of a Cowgirls volleyball match or the sheer volume (both loudness and amount of students) of the student section at a Cowboy home football game. The best part? Students get in to as many games as they want – completely free! Check the game schedule, grab your best brown and gold and get ready to cheer your heart out!

2. Swing Dancin'

Another University of Wyoming staple is swing dancing. Cowboy Country Swing Club is our student-led organization on campus who hosts group lessons and dances all throughout the semester. Take advantage of these warm summer nights to meet new people, learn some impressive moves and dance the night away.

4. The Union (After Dark)

If you’re looking for an exciting Friday night, look no further than Union After Dark! Put on by 7220 Entertainment, Union After Dark is where UW student body lets loose after a week of classes. Games, trivia, art projects, laser tag, karaoke and free giveaways are just a few of the items on your average Union After Dark schedule. Keep an eye out for other 7220 Entertainment events throughout the year as well, such as movie nights, concerts, comedians and more!

5. Farmer's Market

The Laramie Farmer’s Market never fails to showcase the talent and skill of our local business owners. Each Friday from 3 – 7 pm, you’ll find an abundance of fresh produce, hand-crafted goods, live music, baked pastries and authentic cuisine. Not to mention the amount of adorable dogs you’re sure to run into there! The farmer’s market runs through the end of September, so don’t miss out!
