Summer in Laramie is seriously one of the best times of the year. Whether you're new in town, staying around campus, or just visiting, there are so many cool things happening all summer long. From local festivals and outdoor adventures to community events that showcase our vibrant culture, there's something for everyone. Get ready to make some fantastic memories. Grab your friends and family, and explore all the incredible events Laradise has to offer this summer!

UW Graduation Afterparty 

Graduation is a huge deal, and what better way to celebrate than dancing the night away at the Cowboy Saloon? Grab your friends and family, and come enjoy live music, great vibes and an unforgettable atmosphere at the UW Graduation Afterparty. It's the perfect chance to let loose and celebrate all your hard work with the rest of the UW community.

Pilot Hill 25k: The Oldest Footrace in Wyoming 

If you're into running or just want a good outdoor challenge, the Pilot Hill 25k is an absolute must-do. It's Wyoming's oldest race and offers stunning trails, amazing views and a chance to connect with fellow runners. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, it's a great way to kickstart your summer fitness goals. Be sure to register in advance as there will be no day of registration! 

Laramie Pride Fest 

Laramie Pride Fest is a celebration of community, diversity and inclusivity. With multiple events happening all around town, there's something for everyone—whether it's joining the pride march, attending fun workshops, or enjoying performances. It’s an awesome opportunity to support the community and celebrate equality.

Taste of Laradise 

Food lovers, this one's for you! Taste of Laradise is the ultimate chance to sample all the delicious dishes our local chefs and artisans have to offer. There’s fantastic food, live music and a great community atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day tasting and discovering your new favorite foods. 

Laramie Farmers Market 

The Downtown Farmers Market is a weekly highlight throughout the summer. It's the perfect spot to pick up fresh produce, handmade crafts, tasty snacks, and enjoy local entertainment. Meet new friends, support local businesses and soak up that awesome community vibe every Friday night.

July Happenings

Laramie Jubilee Days 

Jubilee Days is one of the biggest celebrations of the year in Laramie. It’s packed with rodeos, parades, carnival rides, concerts and so much more. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's a fantastic way to dive into Wyoming’s rich heritage, have fun with friends and enjoy everything our community has to offer. 

Brewfest 

Calling all beer lovers! Brewfest is the event of the summer to taste amazing craft beers from local and regional breweries. Alongside awesome brews, you’ll enjoy live music, delicious food and a great community vibe. It’s definitely a summer highlight for anyone who appreciates a good pint.

55th Annual Huck Finn Fishing Derby 

The Huck Finn Fishing Derby is a classic Laramie tradition. Perfect for families, kids, or anyone who loves fishing, it’s a relaxing yet fun-filled day out by the water. Grab your fishing gear and see if you can reel in the big one!

Albany County Fair 

The Albany County Fair offers all the classic fair experiences—livestock shows, carnival rides, delicious fair food, and plenty of entertainment. It’s a great way to spend a summer day with family and friends, making memories and enjoying all the fair has to offer.

Eagle's Classic Benefit Car and Bike Show 

Check out some impressive classic cars and motorcycles, support local charities and enjoy delicious food at the Eagle's Classic Benefit Car and Bike Show.

Wild West Relay 

Gather your team for the Wild West Relay—a 200-mile adventure race through stunning landscapes. It’s an epic way to challenge yourself and bond with your friends, making memories you’ll talk about all year long. 

Saddle Up

Calling all incoming freshmen! It's time to Saddle Up and start your journey as a Cowboy! This exciting week-long event is your chance to explore campus, make new friends, and get a head start on everything UW has to offer. Even if you're not an incoming student, there are plenty of fun events happening throughout the week that are open to everyone. The energy around campus is electric, and it’s a great way to kick off the fall semester!

Film buffs, this one's for you! Catch incredible independent films, meet talented filmmakers and immerse yourself in stories from around the world at the 307 International Film Festival. It's an awesome cultural experience right here in Laramie.
