How to Visit the Reading Room Information

Toppan Rare Books Library

The Toppan Rare Books Library collections are now accessible through the AHC’s Reading Room during its posted hours.

Parking:

Parking in the Centennial Complex lot is free, but patrons must park only in the area of the lot with the signage that states CENTENNIAL COMPLEX 2HR VISITOR PARKING.

Areas with "RED PERMIT" signage are exclusively reserved for University of Wyoming parking permits and patrons will be subject to fines in this area of the lot without a valid permit during the normal Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. -  5 p.m. business hours of the university.

For visits lasting longer than 2 hours a free temporary parking permits can be obtained by inquiring at the following locations:

The Information Desk located in the Centennial Complex main lobby on the 2nd floor.
The AHC Docent Desk located at the entrance Exhibit Hall on 2nd floor.
The supervisors desk located in the 4th floor reading room.

Permits must be be promptly displayed on the dashboard or in the front windshield of a vehicle to avoid a fine for overstaying the 2-hour parking limit.

Wireless Access:

The Centennial Complex housing the AHC is part of the University of Wyoming's wireless access network.

UWYO Guest is free and available for all patrons, while eduroam is available for colleagues from other USA universities and colleges.
