Fred Hirschman

University of Akron (BFA); Savannah College of Art and Design (MFA)

 

Fred Hirschman is the Senior Office Associate for the University of Wyoming Art Museum. He holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Akron (Go Zips!) and an MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Go Bees!). Prior to relocating to Laramie, Fred was an Assistant Lecturer of Photography at The University of Akron in Akron, OH, and an Adjunct Instructor in Visual Communications at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, OH. 

 

Fred's personal photographic work is centered around how we (humans) interact with and make our mark on the landscape around us. When he's not at the UW Art Museum, you can probably find him biking around town carrying one too many cameras, cruising the back roads looking for something unexpected, or skateboarding when his knees let him.
