Michelle Sunset (she/her) is the Director of Curatorial Affairs at the University of Wyoming Art Museum in Laramie, Wyoming. She has been working at the UW Art Museum since 2020, originally joining the team as Assistant Curator. Previously serving as Exhibits Manager at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum and as a Curatorial Assistant at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Michelle excitedly transitioned into academia and the Mountain West.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Florida. She also holds two Masters of Arts from Florida State University: in the History and Criticism of Art with a focus in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies and in Art Education with a specialization in Visitor-Centered Curation.
