Sarita Talusani Keller is the Ann Simpson Artmobile Educator at the University of Wyoming Art Museum, serving communities throughout the state. Sarita comes to us from Texas, where she earned a PhD in Art Education with an emphasis in community arts, from the University of North Texas. Her doctoral study at Project Row Houses, Third Ward, Houston, examined relationships between artists-in-residence, community audiences, and program coordinators, and how they learn from one another to develop dynamic site-specific installations and programming in relation to community identity. Her experience includes K-8 art teacher, work at various arts institutions—Dallas Contemporary, Amon Carter Museum, Blaffer Museum, and Project Row Houses, as well as teaching Art in Elementary Schools at the University of Houston and ART 4440: Methods II, Creative and Artistic Growth for the UW Visual Arts Department.

Keller's many hats include artist, art/museum educator, curriculum writer, community arts cultural worker, knitter, stargazer, cat tamer, wife, and mom of two. She is a former Edward and Betty Marcus Foundation Fellow, Nancy Berry Museum Education Scholarship recipient, and has published in Marilyn Zurmuehlen Working Papers in Art Education.
