A New Model

This year, the UW Faculty & Staff Exhibition expands through a curatorial exchange with Florida Atlantic University:

• At FAU: FAU faculty & staff artworks will be curated by Michelle Sunset, Director of Curatorial Affairs at the UW Art Museum, and exhibited in the Schmidt Center Gallery.

• At UW: FAU Director & Chief Curator Véronique Côté will curate the UW Faculty & Staff Juried Exhibition for presentation at the UW Art Museum.

• Traveling artworks: To deepen the exchange, two artists from each institution will have selected work(s) travel to the partner university-broadening visibility, professional networks, and dialogue.

This exchange provides national exposure, direct engagement with a renowned external curator, and a competitive platform that goes beyond a traditional internal faculty show.
