UWAM PUBLIC PROGRAMMING

ABOUT

UWAM regularly hosts programming for the community in conjunction with our current exhibitions and visiting artists. From the Salvagio Artist Talk series, hands-on creative workshops, to intimate one-on-one tours and conversations with artists and curators, the Laramie community and all of Wyoming are welcome at UWAM to experience all the arts have to offer. UPCOMING

July

The UW Art Museum is hosting artists Nora Ligorano and Marshall Reese, known collectively as LigoranoReese, to celebrate their installations Vanishing Finish and Borrowed Time, featured in the museum's exhibition Sympoiesis: Co-Creating Sense of Place. Through cyanotypes of endagered keystone species and lenticular clocks featuring natural disasters, these works explore the exhibition's central themes of collaboratve creation and the dynamic, interconnected systems that shape our world.

Saturday, July 26 | Blue Magic: Exploring Cyanotypes with LigoranoReese - Workshop

Join LigoranoReese for an afternoon of cyanotypes and conversation. Explore this unique process and make your own cyanotype inspired by the artists' installation, Vanishing Finish.

Workshop held at the UW Art Museum, 2111 E. Willett Drive. This event is free, but capacity limited. Registration is required.
