Greetings Staff and Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences,
On Thursday I attended the Trustees Scholarship dinner where I met with many of our undergraduate Trustees Scholars. Chatting with these outstanding students was a delight. The students I met are bright, hardworking, and have excellent goals for their future. It was an uplifting evening.
Today, the Board of Trustees approved Adrienne Freng to serve as the College of Arts and Sciences Interim Dean while I serve as Interim Provost. We both start on Monday. The college is in a great place and I am confident Interim Dean Freng will excel in this role. I look forward to working with her and the college during my time in Academic Affairs. Let’s keep in touch!
