Greetings Staff and Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences, 

 

It was a terrific week of Saddle Up and it was wonderful to meet our incoming freshman class of College of Arts and Sciences students. I met all our students on Monday and they were engaged and asking great questions. We discussed many things including experiential learning opportunities as well as ideas to launch their careers in four years. Their energy and excitement made this week truly special.

 

Thank you to all staff, students, and faculty who helped make Saddle Up such a success. You set the stage for an incredible semester.

 

We are also welcoming back all our current undergraduate and graduate students as they continue their degree progress. It is also great to meet our new A&S faculty who are starting this fall. We have a terrific group of new faculty so please help me welcome them to our college and campus. Welcome to everyone in A&S.  

 

Don’t forget, you’re invited to the Ice Cream Social, which is part of Saddle Up, this afternoon in front of the A&S Building from 2-4 p.m. Stop by and connect with colleagues and students before the semester fully kicks into gear!
