Greetings Staff and Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences, 

 

The excitement is building across campus as we prepare to welcome a new class of students to UW. Today marks Move-In Day, a milestone for our incoming first-year students as they begin their academic journey here in Laramie. I’m grateful to everyone who contributes to making this transition smooth and welcoming for our students and their families. 

 

This weekend is devoted to community building activities, helping students connect with one another and with the UW community. Then, on Monday, we’ll officially kick off our annual Saddle Up program—a week that equips our first-year students for success. 

 

As part of Saddle Up, everyone is invited to an ice cream social in front of the A&S Building. That event will take place Friday, August 22, from 2-4 p.m. For more information, contact College Relations Representative Megan Moma at mmoma@uwyo.edu.
