Greetings Staff and Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences,
Welcome back to campus for the start of a very chilly spring semester! It's nice to see students back in Laramie and on campus.
While everyone was hopefully having a restful and relaxing break, Western Thunder Marching Band represented UW in the Rose Bowl Parade. It was exciting to see all the cowboy hats on national TV! Well done to Joe Carver and all WTMB members. If you weren't able to watch on New Year's Day, you can see a bit of their performance here.
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Celebration of Excellence in Research and Innovation dinner where Dr. Melissa Morris from history was recognized. Congratulations!
As I settle in as Interim Dean, I'm delighted to welcome Eric Wodahl as Interim Associate Dean. Jamie Snyder will serve as the Interim Department Head of Criminal Justice and Sociology.
