Dear Alumni and Friends of the College of Arts & Sciences,

I’m pleased to introduce myself as the interim dean of the UW College of Arts & Sciences. I’m excited to step into this role to help continue to advance the mission of our college during this transitional period.

This change comes as Dean Scott Turpen began his role as interim provost on November 25. We're excited to see him take on this new temporary leadership position for UW, and we look forward to welcoming him back as dean next year.

Thank you for your continued support of the College of Arts & Sciences. Please enjoy the November issue of the monthly newsletter. I look forward to sharing more about our successes in the months ahead.
