ASUW First-Year Senate is the official student government for first-year students at the University of Wyoming. As a First-Year senator, you will work to make a difference in the student experience at the University of Wyoming through reviewing and recommending ASUW Student Senate legislative action and working with ASUW Senators and students-at-large on issues that affect campus life at the University of Wyoming.
ASUW First-Year Senate will also provide substantial and valuable networking opportunities. Through your work as a First-Year senator, you will connect and build meaningful relationships with students, faculty, administrators, and elected officials from across the state of Wyoming. These connections will aid you in bettering your experiences as a student at the University of Wyoming.
The First-Year Senate meets on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM in the ASUW Senate Chambers, located in the Wyoming Union.
Despite the posted deadline of First-Year Senate applications, First-Year Senate will be accepting applications throughout the fall semester. Please fill out the application and follow the instructions to apply.
