College of Business Etiquette Dinner

Spring 2026

What iS IT and WHy You Should Attend?

The Etiquette Dinner is a guided, sit‑down meal where you learn how to handle professional dining situations with confidence. You’ll practice things like making introductions, using place settings correctly, handling conversation at the table, and showing confidence in formal environments. These are the same skills that come up during employer dinners, interviews over meals, and networking events.

We’ll also have corporate partners at the event. This gives you a chance to meet professionals in a relaxed setting, ask questions, and start building connections. You’ll be at the table with people who work in the fields you’re interested in, and the dinner format makes it easier to talk naturally.

The event counts as a SOAR initiative, so you’re gaining both experience and credit at the same time.
