MIT Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) Wyoming Cohort

What is the Wyoming EDP Program?

The Wyoming Innovation Partnership (WIP) is pleased to announce a unique collaboration with the MIT Martin Trust Center to bring the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) to Wyoming. Tuition will be fully covered by WIP for all accepted participants, with the goal expanding entrepreneurship training and entrepreneur success in Wyoming. Specifically, we will be:

  • Creating a common proven framework and language for entrepreneurship,
  • Creating a new cohort of leaders to carry this on after the workshop – entrepreneurs, investors, inventors, academics, government, service providers to entrepreneurs, etc.

This week-long intensive program leverages MIT's culture of high-tech entrepreneurship to help entrepreneurs, corporate venturing executives, startup companies, and others involved in entrepreneurial environments learn what they need to develop ideas into successful businesses, and how to increase entrepreneurial opportunities in their corporations, institutions, and regions.

This program covers the entire venture creation process, from generating ideas to building viable global businesses, with a special emphasis on the nurturing roles of corporations, universities, governments, and foundations.
