Why ASCE?

ASCE is a great program to be involved in. Being a member at the college level automatically makes you eligible for free membership nationally, a requirement to attend Regional Conference. ASCE is an excellent way to meet employers, fellow students, and faculty. ASCE is also a great way to get involved and apply what you are learning in your engineering classes to real life situations.

National Membership

Being a member of the University of Wyoming ASCE chapter automatically gives you free National Membership and access to all of the benefits ASCE provides. For more information Click Here.

2025 Rocky Mountain Student Symposium

The University of Wyoming ASCE student chapter made a powerful showing at the 2025 Rocky Mountain Student Symposium, proudly representing the university on a regional stage. Our team earned 3rd place finishes in three major competitions—Steel Bridge, Surveying, and Timber-Strong Design Build—showcasing not only technical skill but also teamwork, creativity, and determination. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our students, the strength of our engineering program, and the value of hands-on experience beyond the classroom.

Being part of ASCE isn’t just about competing—it’s about growing as engineers, building lifelong friendships, and gaining real-world skills that set us apart in our future careers. Whether it’s designing a bridge, racing a canoe, or solving complex surveying challenges, ASCE gives students the chance to test themselves in ways that are both exciting and meaningful.

With our strong results this year, the momentum is only growing. Now is the perfect time to join the ASCE team, contribute your talents, and help us aim even higher at next year’s symposium.
