I teach Chemical Engineering courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I have taught Graduate Mathematical Methods in Chemical Engineering, Graduate Reaction Kinetics, Unit Operations I, Unit Operations II, and Fluid Mechanics for Chemical Engineers. In my courses, I enjoy employing evidence-based learning techniques that focus upon active learning methodologies. I try to make my courses as interactive as possible through group discussions, in-class conceptual and applied problems, and team-based learning techniques. For example, in my Mathematical Methods class, students will often spend at least half the class coding along with me as we work to solve problems relevant to advanced Chemical Engineering problems.

Additionally, I co-lead our department's outreach and marketing efforts through the development of educational modules and tabling activities. We aim to offer hands-on activities relevant to K-14 students that will excite and inspire the next generation of chemical engineers. We can support visits from students and we can also travel to events. Please reach out if you are intersted in working with us!
