The University of Wyoming's graduate education is one of the best investments you'll ever make! Our high education and research standards, combined with low tuition rates, will ensure that you get the best education for the best price.
All successfully admitted applicants are automatically considered for any available assistantships. Financial support for qualified graduate students is available mainly in the form of research and teaching assistantships. The University of Wyoming waives all tuition and fees (except special fees) for all assistantships. A limited number of fellowships are available to highly qualified candidates.
All assistantships require course work and research activities that are usually coincident with the MS thesis or PhD dissertation topic. Students obtaining support are obligated to perform research which will help meet the obligations of the principal investigator to the funding source.
Tuition is low but the delivery is high. Most CPE graduate students are funded through Teaching and Research Assistantships.
Minimum Master's student stipend: $12,330 (9 month academic year stipend). Tuition, fees and health insurance are provided.
Minimum PhD student stipend: $17,145 (9 month academic year stipend). Tuition, fees and health insurance are provided.
