Dr. Eggert was raised in a small town in the foothills near Lake Tahoe, California.
He grew up raising animals on his parents' property and playing youth sports. He
graduated with a degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego
and went on to train clinically at Mesa College and with the team physicians for the
San Diego Chargers. Dr. Eggert graduated with honors from the dual-language program
at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He travels extensively, participating
in volunteer, academic and research activities in Uganda, Phillipines, Bolivia, Haiti,
Mexico and Jordan. Outside of medicine, Dr. Eggert loves the water and is an avid
freediver and SCUBA ethusiast. He spends his free time exploring, hiking and camping.
He is thrilled to return to the mountains and train as a full-scope family physician
to practice in a rural area in the future.
