Sam was raised in a series of small, rural towns largely on the east coast, although she spent several years in the United Kingdom.She enjoyed playing with animals and participating in the annual school musical productions.She graduated from the University at Albany with a degree in Human Biology before continuing on to finish a master's degree in Cellular Biology at Binghamton University. Sam also spent several years working as a trauma technician in a local emergency department which solidified her interest in medicine. She most recently earned her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. Sam loves to read, listen to music from all genres, and meander aimlessly along hiking trails ideally playing a long game of "left, left, right".
