My research interests are at the intersection of behavioral economics, experimental economics, public economics and health economics. For instance, I study the value of consumer information—when and why do people value information. Another strand of my research evaluates the effect of different policies designed to encourage healthy consumer choices. I am also interested in how consumer preferences are shaped by religion and religious beliefs. Finally, in response to current events, I have recently also examined consumer behavior and the efficiency of policies in response to pandemics.
