Bio: Amy Banić is a Full Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department
at the University of Wyoming (UW) in Laramie, WY. Her research focuses on the design
of 3D User Interfaces, Interaction Techniques, and Devices for Virtual / Augmented
/ Mixed Reality (XR) Environments, Immersive Visualizations, and Virtual Humans. Banić’s
educational background is rooted in the intersection of design, visual computing,
interactive systems, computer graphics, human-centered computing, and immersive technologies.
