Short Bio:
Dr. Judith Nkechinyere Njoku is a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wyoming, working in the Secure Sensing and Learning (SSL) Research Lab within the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Her research focuses on machine learning, AI, computer vision for autonomous vehicles, and developing digital twins for industrial and infrastructure-related applications.
 
She collaborates closely with the Center for Rural Community Resilience and Innovation (CRCRI) on building digital twin technologies for smart rural places, part of the University of Wyoming’s interdisciplinary initiative to advance AI-enabled solutions for rural communities.
 
Her prior work includes digital twin development for battery management systems, bridge health monitoring, and autonomous vehicle perception. Dr. Njoku earned her Ph.D. in IT Convergence Engineering from Kumoh National Institute of Technology, South Korea.
