Insects in the Garden

Longhorn Beetle

Longhorn Beetle

Beetles of this family, Cerambycidae, are strikingly beautiful arboreal pests. Their larvae, which look menacing, bore beneath the bark, usually on stressed or dying trees. Very few species in this family are serious pests of healthy trees.
