Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management Minor

A minor in rangeland ecology and watershed management is available for students in other majors interested in increasing their knowledge of the field. The number of hours required is 22.

The required courses for the minor are (22 credits):

LIFE 1010 - General Biology (4 credits)
LIFE 3400 - General Ecology (3 credits)
REWM 2000 - Principles of Rangeland Management (3 credits)
REWM 2500 - Rangeland Plant Identification (2 credits)
REWM 4330 - Rangeland Ecosystem Assessment and Monitoring (3 credits)
REWM 4530 - Seminar (1 credit)

6 hrs. selected from other REWM upper division (3000 or 4000 level) courses.

The minor by itself will not qualify you for federal employment as a Rangeland Management Specialist.
