Executive Committee

The Committee operates under, by, and through the Bylaws of the Faculty Senate and University of Wyoming Regulation 2-301, which states that:

1. 1. The Executive Committee shall consist of the following: The Chair, the Chair-Elect, the Immediate Past-Chair, the Secretary of the Faculty Senate, and four Members-at-Large who shall be elected from the voting membership of the Faculty Senate.
   2. The Chairs of the Faculty Senate Standing Committees shall serve as ex officio members of the Executive Committee.
   3. The Chair of the Faculty Senate shall serve as the Chair of the Executive Committee

 

The Executive Committee shall have general supervision of the affairs of the Faculty Senate and its standing committees;

1. 1. Fix the hour and place, and prepare the agenda for the Faculty Senate meetings
   2. Perform such other duties as are specified in this UW Regulation or the Faculty Senate Bylaws;
   3. Or perform duties which may be assigned to it by the Faculty Senate.
