Executive Committee

The Committee operates under, by, and through the Bylaws of the Faculty Senate and University of Wyoming Regulation 2-301, which states that:

• The Executive Committee shall consist of the following: The Chair, the Chair-Elect, the Immediate Past-Chair, the Secretary of the Faculty Senate, and four Members-at-Large who shall be elected from the voting membership of the Faculty Senate.

  • The Chairs of the Faculty Senate Standing Committees shall serve as ex officio members of the Executive Committee.

• The Chair of the Faculty Senate shall serve as the Chair of the Executive Committee.

• The Executive Committee shall have general supervision of the affairs of the Faculty Senate and its standing committees;

  • Fix the hour and place, and prepare the agenda for the Faculty Senate meetings

  • Perform such other duties as are specified in this UW Regulation or the Faculty Senate Bylaws;

  • Or perform duties which may be assigned to it by the Faculty Senate.
