Sean Warner White

Hello! I'm Sean Warner White, and I'm honored to serve as the GEAR UP Wyoming Accountant here at the University of Wyoming.

Growing up on a small generational cattle farm near Riverton, Wyoming, I came to appreciate at an early age the power of education and the opportunities it can create. I began my higher education journey at Central Wyoming College, where I earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration before continuing to the University of Wyoming, where I earned two Bachelor's degrees in Finance and Marketing and a Master's degree in Business Administration. I later earned a Graduate Certificate in Community College Leadership and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Administration here at the University of Wyoming. My dissertation examines how financial support is allocated to rural and underserved students and the ways those decisions influence educational access and opportunity.

As the GEAR UP Wyoming Accountant, my goal is to support the financial stewardship that makes GEAR UP's mission possible by ensuring program resources are managed responsibly so students across Wyoming have every opportunity to achieve their educational goals. Please don't hesitate to stop by my office if you have any financial questions!
