Graduate Student Nathan Swain receives two grants

MS student Nathan Swaim received a Graduate Student Fellowship from the Society of Economic Geologists and a GSA Graduate Student Research Grant to support his thesis work documenting the distribution and styles of alteration and mineralization at the Miami Mine, Globe-Miami District, Arizona. Nathan will be working to identify trends in veins, alteration assemblages, and structural features at the Miami mine in order to develop a better understanding of hypogene mineralization and hydrothermal alteration. Nathan is a graduate student who is being supervised by Assistant Professor Simone Runyon.
