During the academic year, Haub School Office Aides sit at the front desk in the Bim Kendall House. They assist with a variety of projects, including reception, running the ENR Jobs Board, stocking our food cabinets, and organizing merchandise for sale. Below are the four student workers with us for the 23-24 year.

 
Alyssa Dale

Alyssa Dale
(she/her), senior from Laramie, WY, studying Environment and Natural Resources (ENR), Philosophy, and Spanish, with minors in International Studies, Sustainability, Environmental Values, and Honors

Why did you become a Haub School Student Worker?
"I became a student worker to get more involved in the different events and activities run by or with the Haub School."

Main Roles: "I coordinate our prospective student visits and our merchandise sales. I also work with Leila Johnson and Anastasia Brady during our events."

"I am a Haubie because I place deep value on the natural world, and I wanted to carry that passion over through my academic career."

Fun fact: "I am currently working on my undergraduate capstone project that involves research across 3 continents and thousands of photos of penguins. I also compete in triathlons with the UW team!"

Why did you become a Haub School Student Worker?
" I became a Haub School student worker because I love the community and it seemed like a great place to start my Haub School journey."

Main Role: Office Aide in the Bim Kendall House

"I am a Haubie because I have a passion for being in and conserving the outdoors."

Fun fact: "Spending time outside has always been a hobby of mine whether it be skiing, hiking, or going on a trail run, I have always loved it. I think that is why I chose Laramie to do my undergrad."


Ezra Stepanek

(he/him), sophomore from Colorado Springs, CO, studying ESS, ENR, and Communications, with minors in Sustainability and Honors

Why did you become a Haub School Ambassador?
"I became a Haub School Student worker because it seemed like a great opportunity to support the work of the Haub School and further my connections within it."

Main Roles: " I am an Office Aide at the front desk of the Kendall House. Additionally, I’m the RA of the Haub School LLC in Mcintyre."

"I am a Haubie because I love the community and variety of opportunities in the Haub School and I care about protecting the natural world and working outside."

Fun fact: "I drove across almost the entire country this summer with a broken ankle."
