NATIONAL SERVICE
As an AmeriCorps program, WCC is a force multiplier putting federal dollars to work in our communities through our state commission, Serve Wyoming. In exchange for their service, WCC members receive a living allowance, wilderness medicine certifications, hands-on stewardship training, and a Segal Education Award that can be used for higher education.

Become a partner
Field Crews
A crew of 8 AmeriCorps members serve at the partner's site over the course of a ten-day "hitch". The partner provides a campsite, oversight throughout the project, one scheduled day off, and a half-day education activity. Field Crews are ideal for projects that are difficult to access or need extra hands. 640 project hours per crew.
Individual Placements
One or more AmeriCorps members serve with the partner for 12 weeks during the summer. The partner provides day-to-day supervision, project-specific training, and opportunities for development. Individual Placements are ideal for projects that need fewer hands for a longer duration. 450 project hours per member.

OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2006, the Wyoming Conservation Corps (WCC) is an AmeriCorps program that builds on the legacy created by the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s and the Youth Corps of the 1970s. WCC continues this legacy by carrying out high-caliber service projects across Wyoming and training the next generation of public land stewards.
