High Plains American Indian Institute (HPAIRI)

Given its role as a bridge between UW and Wyoming’s Tribal Nations, HPAIRI is uniquely situated to provide insights into the unique challenges and opportunities researchers may face when conducting research among tribal communities.  HPAIRI plans to be a resource to UW and State entities seeking insight into appropriate strategies for relationship building with Tribal Nations.  HPAIRI affiliates come from a variety of academic backgrounds, enabling the Institute to play a key role in providing continuing education in research best practices with tribal communities.
