The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Davis will deliver her lecture at 4:00 PM in the Art & Sciences Auditorium, on the University of Wyoming campus. The lecture will also be live-streamed via WyoCast at this link.
Through her activism and scholarship, Angela Davis has been deeply involved in our nation’s quest for social justice. Her work as an educator – both at the university level and in the larger public sphere – has always emphasized the importance of building communities of struggle for economic, racial, and gender justice.
