CIVIL LEGAL SERVICES Clinic
2025-2026 Student Clinic Director: Mason Teague
I was born and raised in McDonough, Georgia. I graduated from Ola High School where I participated in competitive marching band as a tenor player on the drumline. Once I graduated, I made the decision to attend the University of Wyoming where I pursued a degree in Criminal Justice and became a member of the Western Thunder Marching Band.
While in undergrad, I took a class called Criminal Procedure and met a professor who sparked my interest for the Fourth and Sixth Amendments. I then had the opportunity to intern at the Defender Aid Clinic while that professor was the Faculty Director. Learning about protecting constitutional rights inspired me to apply for law school here at the University of Wyoming.
I first came to the Civil Legal Services Clinic as a 2L Legal Assistant where I was mentored by the Student Director, Jaél Morsett. I admired her dedication and fortitude which lead to me applying for the Student Director position. I hope to continue the legacy of past Student Directors and the Civil Legal Services Clinic by providing effective legal services to the underrepresented community within the state of Wyoming.
After graduating, I plan to stay here in Wyoming and continue providing legal services to the state.
